What a great weekend! Everything has gone very well despite (or because of?) the Chair skiving off for lunch at the seaside! I’m not going to name individuals because I’d be sure to miss someone but if you have raked grass, put signs up, shopped for provisions, helped with the set-up or take-down, provided gazebo transport, baked, donated books or prizes, manned a stall, sold tickets or lost sleep worrying about things we are very grateful. The fete couldn’t happen without so many willing volunteers.
A huge thank you to the Corn Kist for providing such a fantastic range of refreshments. We really appreciate your support.
Thank you to Stuart McKandie and Kate Badcock for providing the music for the afternoon.
Thank you to everyone who came along on the day too. We hope you had a great afternoon.
Lastly, thank you very much to the rain…for staying away!
The pennies are still being counted but we’ll let you know once we have a final total.
