Over the summer we’ve undertaken some further improvement works to the hall. The men’s loos has had a much needed refurbishment with new sanitary fixings, new doors, new flooring and wall coverings. We have also replaced the old shower (a grimy 1980’s cubicle accessed through a store cupboard!) with a lovely new shower room accessed from the main corridor.
Our shower room was primarily used by residential groups who hire the hall for weekends (Boys Brigade, Scouting, Guiding etc) so we hope it will help attract more of these. The work was made possible by a Community Investment Fund Grant plus monies raised at the annual fete. Ally Mallinson did a great job on the installation for us.
