Williamson Hall, Abernethy
Williamson Hall is Abernethy's village hall. It has a number of regular users as well as being available to hire for parties or events.
We know, we know, it’s a bit early - but these workshops are really popular! To book a place please contact Crafty Chicks Creative 🎄
Huge thank you to everyone who sponsored, supported and came along to our race night last night. Was a great fun night and the noise in the hall drowned out Storm Amy outside! We have totted up this morning and have raised a fabulous £1300+ for hall improvements.![]()
Work on relaying the access road and parking area is pencilled in for end of this month / start of next and this takes us very close to raising the final ££ needed. We had great support from local businesses and the community and it’s very much appreciated.![]()

We are looking forward to our Race Night tomorrow. We’ve had great support from local businesses as sponsors and raffle prizes and are hopeful this will make a big dent in the money we need to raise to get the access road and parking at the hall relaid. ![]()
Why not come along and support us? £6 a ticket, BYOB and a pie at half time. Big screen racing with a proper MC 🏇![]()

GOOD NEWS FOR THE HALL - BUT WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!![]()
Very pleased to tell you that thanks to Tayside Contracts and National Lottery grant funding, the Hall should now be able to relay our access track and parking area, as well as install an accessible blue badge parking space. This work is very much needed as the road up is beginning to degrade and we are delighted to be awarded the grants. ![]()
However we still need to raise another £2.5k towards the cost of making this happen. We have other grant applications in hand and so planned Race Night on the 3 October is our main push to help us achieve our goal. We are hoping you will all come along on the night and support us. ![]()
Huge thanks to those who have already bought tickets and those local businesses who have agreed to sponsor a race - Taste-Talk, Tower Garage, Cordon Farm, Keystore Abernethy , Sinclair landscaping ,tree surgery and maintenance, The Abernethy Nook and those who have kindly donated raffle prizes - @aberargie distillery, Jamesfield Garden Centre, Senses amongst others.![]()
If you would like to buy a ticket, sponsor us, donate a prize or even just donate then please get in touch and we can make this happen to benefit the village!
