Everything’s looking good!

There seems to be a huge amount of baking and sweet making going on in Abernethy right now, we have had a huge amount of books handed in, some cracking raffle prizes and even some bottles. Makes you realise what a great village and community we have here in Abernethy – thank you to all who are baking, helping, donating, volunteering, raking up grass, lugging gazebos and tables about plus all the other small and big jobs which are being done to make tomorrow at the fete a success.

Corn Kist outside It certainly feels like it is going to be a good one; the 625s are a SELL OUT for the Saturday night,  the forecast is improving all the time (and even if it showers, we have golf umbrellas as raffle prizes 😉 ) and the donations and kindness has been amazing. CAI Church who run the Corn Kist will be taking over the kitchen for us and providing teas, coffees, home baking, waffles and strawberries & cream (and hopefully Noemi’s amazing scones too) and we have just received word from Binn Waste that they will also be financially sponsoring the fete so a big big thank you to both of those. We also will have live music from Stuart Mckandie and Kate Badcock during the fete itself. It’s going to be great, see you tomorrow from 1pm! Binn Waste logo
